At Atelier Fancy Light we don't manufacture lights. We choose them — carefully, deliberately — for interiors that refuse the ordinary. And we tell you exactly where they come from.

Where our pieces come from

Our lights are made in Asia, like almost all decorative lighting sold in Europe, including by brands considerably more expensive than us. We would rather write it down than let you guess.

The difference lies elsewhere: we keep no warehouse. Every piece leaves the workshop that shapes it and comes straight to you. None has sat waiting on a pallet, none has spent six months gathering dust on a shelf. That is why no two pieces are quite the same — and it is also why you should allow 7 to 20 business days between your order and your wall.

Two kinds of craft

Our Japandi lights are made by hand, one at a time. Every rattan weave, every silk seam, every bamboo assembly is the result of a human gesture. No two pieces are perfectly identical.

Our Wabi-Sabi lights are built from selected natural materials: travertine formed by hot springs, natural silk, raw rattan, sanded stoneware.

Materials that age well

Travertine carries the marks of millions of years of geological formation — pores, veins and tones vary from one piece to the next. Rattan takes on a patina. Natural silk gives a light no synthetic imitates. You see it in a room immediately.

Certified and checked

All our lights carry the CE marking and comply with the RoHS directive. Universal voltage 90–260 V, usable anywhere in Europe without an adapter.

Shipping

7 to 20 business days, across the whole catalogue. Tracking number sent as soon as the parcel leaves. In periods of high demand we let you know by email if the timeline extends — we would rather announce bad news than invent good news.

Free shipping within Europe on orders over €80, €7.99 below that. Reinforced packaging, double protection for stone and glass.

Returns

30 days to change your mind, twice the European legal minimum. No reason required. If a piece arrives damaged, a photo by email is enough: we reship or refund, your choice.
