• Nothing sits in a warehouse

Every light leaves the workshop that shapes it. With you within 7 to 20 business days, tracking sent at dispatch.

  • CE & RoHS certified

Compliant with European electrical safety standards. 90–260 V.

  • 30 days to change your mind

Twice the legal minimum. Return with no reason given, refunded.

  • 1 — You choose the right size

Every product page gives the diameter to pick for the width of your table or the floor area of your room, and the height to hang it at. That is mistake number one in lighting: we settle it before the purchase, not after.

  • 2 — The piece leaves the workshop

We keep no warehouse: your light leaves the workshop that shapes it and reaches you within 7 to 20 business days. Tracking number every time. In periods of high demand we email you if the timeline extends — we would rather announce bad news than invent good news.

  • 3 — You have thirty days

If the light doesn't give what you pictured, you send the piece back and you are refunded. No reason to give, no discussion.

The questions people ask us before buying

Who exactly are you?

Atelier Fancy Light is a French business registered under SIRET 104 685 342 00016, based at 4 avenue Duval le Camus, 92210 Saint-Cloud. That number is public: you can check it yourself on the business register before ordering. Our full legal notice is linked at the foot of every page.

Where are your lights made?

Our pieces are selected in France and made by partner workshops in Asia — like most decorative lighting sold in Europe, including by brands far more expensive than us. We write it down in plain words, because that is precisely what an unreliable reseller tries to hide.

What comes next matters more: we keep no warehouse. Your piece hasn't spent six months gathering dust on a shelf — it leaves the workshop that shapes it and comes straight to you. That is why no two are quite the same.

How long does delivery take?

7 to 20 business days, across the whole catalogue. We stock nothing: every light leaves the workshop that makes it, and you get a tracking number as soon as the parcel goes.

That is longer than ordering from a large chain, and we write it rather than discovering it with you after the purchase. If the timeline has to extend in periods of high demand, we email you — never after the fact.

Will I pay customs charges?

No. The price shown is the final price: nothing extra is charged on delivery, no tax to settle with the carrier, no paperwork. If a carrier were to present you with an invoice anyway, send it to us — we cover it.

And if the piece arrives damaged?

Our lights travel in reinforced packaging, with double protection for travertine and glass. If a piece arrives damaged, send us a photo by email: we reship or refund, your choice. You don't have to return a broken object at your own cost.

Do your lights meet European standards?

Yes. All our lights carry the CE marking and comply with the RoHS directive. They run on 90–260 V and work with the European grid. Sockets are E27 or G9 depending on the model, stated on every product page.

How does the return work?

You have 30 days from delivery, twice the European legal minimum. No reason required. Write to us, we tell you what to do and we refund as soon as the parcel reaches us.

How do you reach us if something is wrong?

By email at contact@atelierfancylight.com. We reply within 24 working hours, in French, German, Dutch or English. A real person answers — we are a small team, which is also what makes that possible.

What we can prove

Atelier Fancy Light is a registered French business whose number is public and verifiable before you order at all. Our pieces are selected in France and shaped by our partner workshops — they leave from there and come straight to you, with a tracking number, without passing through a warehouse.

We reply in under twenty-four working hours, in French, German, Dutch and English.

Our pieces draw on two philosophies: Japanese Wabi-Sabi, which celebrates imperfection and raw material, and Japandi, the meeting of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth. We don't choose them for the object they are, but for the light they lay down.
