Dining room lighting

This is the room where a sizing mistake shows most. The interior designers' rule: a diameter equal to one third or one half the width of your table. Table 140 to 180 cm, allow Ø 50 cm; beyond 180 cm, move to Ø 60 or two Ø 40 pendants spaced apart.

The height isn't up for debate: 60 to 70 cm above the tabletop. Higher and the light scatters; lower and it cuts across the eyeline at the table.
